Loyalty means “giving your best in honesty and sincerity to anybody or anything”…
LOYALTY and COMMITMENT are synonymous. If you are truly loyal to people, you are expected to respect their words.
Loyalty demands your total commitment to the person. You can’t tell me you are loyal to someone and yet NOT committed to the person’s business!
For you to be TOTALLY LOYAL to someone, you must adopt the theory of FOOLISHNESS. You block your ears against any stupid talk against the person.
BEING LOYAL demands your total commitment towards whatsoever the person believes in…not eye service mechanism.
You can’t bring your boss to disrupt and expect to be promoted…Nay!
It is better to be far from someone than staying closer with FAKED LOYALTY.
Personally, if I can’t take a bullet for you, I’m not loyal to you: back in school, I was highly loyal to this lecturer, as in…I have never been loyal to anyone as I was to this person, we stayed in the same compound with other tenants… I woke up one morning to see a CHARM on this person’s car and during that period, the couple were sick, I decided to accept the consequences of removing that charm from the car…
Hey, I was ready to die for someone because of loyalty, so I succeeded in removing the charm that morning, throughout that day, demons had meeting in my room and I was gradually dying… It was GOD who saved me from the attack I had that day,…. But guess what??? 70% of the hatred I had in school was caused by this particular person who’s death nearly killed me. I was HIGHLY LOYAL to someone who later sermonised hatred on me.
“It is so annoying to be loyal to people who constantly take you for granted”.
You see these IPOB people, they are highly loyal to Nnamdi Kalu and they are ever ready to defend his course.
Being loyal to people makes you look foolish.
…but I’ve stopped being loyal to foolish people!
