“Onye Igbo kpata ego n’awe, Ndi Igbo Achuba Ya Kafa gbue”- Umuobiligbo

For the benefit of those who don’t understand Igbo, I will translate. The above Igbo assertion simply means that Igbos witch hunt and kill  their brothers once he becomes successful abroad.

This trend is becoming a culture and regular occurrence amongst the Ozubulu brothers especially those living in South Africa. The rate at which they witch hunt and kill their brothers over little or no issue is becoming a matter of great concern which needs urgent attention before things gets out of hand.

Recall how gunmen in August 6th, 2017 invaded St Philip Catholic Church, shooting at worshippers, killing 13, and leaving several others wounded?
The attack was said to have been prompted by a drug war between indigenes of Ozubulu community living in South Africa.

It will interest you to know that since the August 6th Church Massacre in Ozubulu, heads has continued to roll and one is left with so many questions bothering on the main cause of this brotherly and family killings.

Regrettably, the April 11th incidence which turned a wife to a widow and children to fatherless and left parents and siblings in dismay and disappointment will live long in the memories of Nzelu  family of Ozubulu.

According to a Facebook user who break the news, ‘Why is Ozubulu People killing themselves in South Africa, why, just look at Emeka Nzelu”, He wrote on his Facebook timeline.Emeka Nzelu and yet to be identified Nigerian man were on 11th April reportedly shot dead in South Africa by unknown assailants.
