………Commends Prince Ned Nwoko For His Continuous Support For Capacity Building Among Youths
A delegation of Revive Africa Initiative inspection team had embarked on facility inspection tour to ascertain the state of facilities at Mount Ned Nwoko resort and tourism centre, the proposed boot camp for the Young African Volunteers network scheduled to hold from 27th to 29th November, 2019.
Upon arrival at the tourism centre, the Manager, Pastor Lauretta recieved the team with excitement and commended the team’s initiative towards building mental infrastructure and capacity among the young generation.
He went further to show the team round the facility, highlighting the significance of the architectures and every artiquities. The sports facilities, accomodations, garden areas, mini zoo, the tower and the tunnel.
At the end of the Inspection the team were very impressed with the state and carrying capacity of the resort. They expressed satisfaction with what they have seen as well as the heavy security coverage of the Centre.
The Director General and leader of the delegation, Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole commended the gesture of Hon. prince Ned Nwoko for approving the facility for use as boot camp for the maiden edition of the Volunteer Network and his continuous support for youth development and capacity building across Africa.
According to Amb.Ugagaghene, “Mount Ned Nwoko resort and tourism centre is one of the Principal Partners of Revive Africa Initiative on the project “Young African Volunteers network”.
Reacting to questions on the aim of the Network, the Director General of Revive Africa Initiative stated that the Network is designed to groom, train, reorientate and develop the leadership skills and capacity of young Africans, change agents and community development volunteers for Global impact.
He concluded his remarks with a clarion call to all stakeholders, leaders of thought and men of goodwill in our society to sponsor young and promising change agents to participate in this event, stressing that without proper mental infrastructure, no physical infrastructure can be sustained.
