Sets To Partner Konum Farms On Training Of Youths On Agricultural Value Chain
It was a moment of joy and nolstagic reflections on the contributions of Chief Sir. Engr. Dele Omenogor to community development and nation building as the delegates of Revive Africa Initiative gave him an honorly  Award of recognition for community development and youth employment yesterday.
The award presentation took place at  his country home in Ishakaguma, Amai kingdom.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of Revive Africa Initiative and leader of the delegation Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole commended the first class chief, a renowned philanthropist, humanitarian, General manager of Aklean oil and gas and chairman Konum farms for remaining consistent in the business of community development and nation building, ranging from his contributions in Education, Agriculture and youth employment through Konum farms, facilitation of employment of Youths into the oil and gas industry, human capital development through sports via his investment in Konum’s football club and so on was encouraged over the years and encouraged him to continue going good.
While remarking his contributions to the society, Amb.Ugagaoghene appealed to  Sir Dele for partnership and sponsorship of Konum farms limited in training young people on agricultural value chain in pursuant to SDG on zero hunger through agriculture in an initiative ChreistinedMAKING OF AGRO-VENDORS”; initiative which promises to train fifty(50) youths in from Delta state on Agricultural value chain.
Responding to the appeal, Chief Dele Omenogor announced that Konum farms shall definitely partner Revive Africa Initiative in such a noble initiative but noted that he will lias with the management team of Konum farms to review the proposal presented by the group and determine the extent of sponsorship that Konum farms will provide.
He also added that in the end, the training may be expanded to accommodate more than fifty youths if God’s willing.
The high point of the event was the presentation of the well deserved Award of recognition to chief sir. Engr. Dele Omenogor, the Odogwu Adiebuo 1 of Amai Kigdom.
